into one of India’s leading civil retrofitting & rehabilitation contracting
companies.
Farokh Guzder started his business career in cotton purchasing and then
transitioned the business into a leading heavy weight lift logistics company N.S. Guzder & Co.
He was responsible for transforming the engineering division of N.S.Guzder & Co. into BDS Projects India. From starting with retrofitting of bridges and culverts for movement of heavy lift consignments, to eventually carrying out major civil repairs, restoration, constructions & augmentation to all kinds of structures across India & the middle east today.
Farokh Guzder serves on the board of BDS Projects & AFL today. He has also served on the boards of DASCHER India & Chowgule Steamships.
Jamshed Guzder
Director
After studying and working overseas for over 16 years, Jamshed returned to India, as a full-time working Director of BDS Projects till date.
He has completed his BSBA from Boston University with Honors & his MBA from IMD Switzerland.
On completing his studies in the USA, Jamshed worked in Dubai for ABN Amro Bank UAE for 3 years, where he was leading a team for risk management & MIS systems. He was then instrumental in opening and running BDS Projects in the UAE. He went on to complete his masters degree and returned to India to work in BDS Projects India.
Over and above his work responsibilities, he is a trustee of Banaji Ateshberam, Hirabai Tata Trust, JJPB Trusts & Sir CJ Gandevi Schools.
D K Kulkarni
CEO
D K Kulkarni, graduate in civil Engineering, has more than 34 years of experience in various fields of civil engineering.
He has worked in industrial projects (steel and chemical industry) Dk Kulkarni has executed complex Industrial projects for 11 years and continues to do so.
His association with construction chemicals manufactures; in the capacity of sales and marketing of all products has been instrumental in his career. He has worked for more than 6 years in sales where he was also involved in new product development, testing, training, specifications in addition to general sales and marketing.
During this period, he worked very closely in the repairs and waterproofing segment with various projects across India. This paved the way to take up more challenging projects in the field of Repairs and Construction.
That is when he joined BDS Projects India in the year 2007 and has since been with BDS projects for 16 years.
Dk Kulkarni has worked on numerous complex and challenging Repairs, Strengthening and Construction Projects across all segments including heavy industrial, commercial, residential and Marine structures across India. He has been Instrumental in steering the growth of company from its initial stages to a market leader today in contracting work PAN India.
CYRUS GUZDER
Director
Is Chairman and Managing Director of AFL Private Limited.
He was responsible for introducing International Express Services to India with DHL Worldwide Express, whose operations in India were owned and managed by AFL for over 25 years.
AFL also established market leadership in Supply Chain Management and Contract Logistics in India; as well as in Corporate Travel Management.
Cyrus Guzder serves on the board of BDS Projects, as has in the past for several companies, including Air India, Tata Info media, Tata Honeywell, Alfa Laval, Great Eastern Shipping Company and Mahindra Holidays.
He has held several industry positions including as President of the Air Cargo Agents Association of India, Travel Agents Association of India, Express Industry Council of India and Chairman CII National Committee in Civil Aviation & Honorary Consul General of Ireland for Mumbai and Western India for 17 years.
Currently, he is the Chairman of QuikJet Cargo Airline Private Limited, Chairman of the Logistics Sector Skill Council (established by CII) and is a Governor of the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad.
